A Self-Insured
Worker’s Compensation Trust is
available to those who qualify. The trust, with a fund of 9 + million
dollars and growing, provides coverage to more than 100 AGC members across
the state.
Committees,
composed of members, study and advise the Board of Directors on all matter
affecting the construction industry.
A Mobile Safety
Classrooms is available to
members who meet certain criteria. This van is modified to seat 16 and
is fully equipped with TV and VCR, allowing safety-related presentations
to be shown to crews at the job site. "Train the
Trainer" classes are mandatory for safety directors to participate in
this program. Training is held periodically at the AGC office, conducted by
a qualified instructor.
AGC
Staff: The friendly,
courteous AGC staff is well trained and available to help answer questions,
aid with research and provide all-around assistance to members as needed.
