Competent Person Training: AGC of East Tennessee offers Competent Person Training at a discounted price to all AGC of East Tennessee Site Safety Van Service: An on-site classroom furnished with audio-visual equipment, the Safety Van provide member companies a method of educating field staff without being off the jobsite. The AGC van is equipped with a broad range of safety videos and provides an opportunity to train employees with a minimum of lost time and interruption of work schedules. This program informs member employees of the many types of hazards they may encounter on the job site, and will assist you in reducing the number of accidents by teaching you ways to create a safer work environment. If you have special safety training needs, our safety director can custimize safety training to suit the needs of your company. Safety Training Classes: AGC offers a mulititude of safety training classes throughout the year to make your business more productive. Topics include: Scaffold Safety Safety Start-Up Kit: Provided to AGC of East Tennessee members at a minimal cost, these guidelines will assist you in developing a company-wide safety program. Safety Video Library: AGC has a video library of safety topics on VHS and DVD. Safety publicatons are available for viewing and may be ordered from the AGC Bookstore. Job-Site Safety Signs: AGC of East Tennessee has job-site signs available. All signs are in colors and sized specified in the Occupational Safety and Health Regulations for Construction. The signs are also available in Spanish.
