GOVERNOR LEE LISTS CONSTRUCTION AS AN ESSENTIAL SERVICE

DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY ADDS CONSTRUCTION AS ESSENTIAL SERVICE WORKFORCE
Thanks to the resilient efforts of the AGC of America staff, the US Department of Homeland Security has now included construction workers on the list of essential workforce to ensure the community and national resilience in COVID-19 response. NEW CHATTANOOGA PERMITTING PROCESS / DRC BUILDING CLOSED TO PUBLIC
PER DALLAS RUCKER, MARCH 27: There will be information in the DRC lobby on applying for a permit and paper permit copies as well. You will be able to fill out permits and leave them in a bin and they will be picked up periodically and processed. With the staff working remotely, email will be the fastest. The building guard will be in the lobby, so the drop offs should be safe.

NEW RPA PROCEDURES FOR ZONING CASE REVIEW AND SUBDIVISION PLAT REVIEW
Final plats can be dropped off in the DRC lobby on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 am - 12 noon. Planning Commission meetings will be held in May online.
