City of Chattanooga Rolls Out New Energy and Electrical Standards Effective March 1, 201912/20/2018
![]() Effective March 1, 2019, the 2012 IECC Energy Code and 2017 NEC standards for electrical will go into effect for construction projects within the City of Chattanooga. (The original effective date was January 1 but the Land Development Office extended it to March after discussions with AIA Chattanooga and AGC.) 2012 IECC Energy Code Resources: AGC of East Tennessee has new code books and resources for members to guide you through new changes. The City of Chattanooga will be hosting a 7-hour training session on 2012 IECC on January 29 from 8 am - 4 pm at the Development Resource Center.
