AGC of East Tennessee is committed to building the next generation of construction professionals. As such, we offer scholarships for college students pursuing a career in a construction-related education program. The AGC of East Tennessee scholarship funds are administered by the Community Foundation of Chattanooga and applications are assessed by the AGC Education Committee.
Since 2006, when the scholarship program began, AGC has awarded support to 137 students in excess of $550,000. While most students have attended regional colleges and universities, some students have received awards as far away as New Orleans. Graduating students, with either an Associates of Applied Science, Bachelors of Science or a Master’s degree in Construction Management, are guiding the industry forward to a brighter future with a professional skilled workforce. We extend a special thank you to our local high schools, colleges and universities for their efforts in bringing fruition to the curriculum designed to provide a future to those pursuing a degree in Construction Management.
